Internship and Intensive Chinese Programs in Beijing & Shanghai | Startup China

Startup China offers three program options in Beijing and Shanghai: Internship in China, Intensive Chinese, and Internship and Intensive Chinese. All internships are paid positions in a sector of choice and last 1-3 months, depending on the intern's needs. Our partner companies cover a wide range of industries, including: Banking and Finance, Business, Marketing and PR, Legal, NGO, IT, Green Technology, Entertainment and Media, Hospitality, and Travel and Tourism. Each participant is paired with an Internship Consultant who aid them in selecting an internship in the sector of their choice, give resume and interview tips, and provide continued support throughout the duration of the program. Programs are all-inclusive, with provided modern accommodation in downtown Beijing or Shanghai, visa assistance, airport pickup and orientation, business seminars and networking opportunities, cultural events, practical Chinese lessons, and excursions.

The combined Internship and Intensive Chinese Program allows participants to spend their first month in Beijing or Shanghai in daily intensive Chinese small group classes before starting their internship placement. Although Chinese language skills are not required for our programs, it can be very useful in participants' daily lives and in the workplace, and is recommended for those looking for the full China experience.
